The real danger posed by the human bite however has always been infection, even in the living the saliva from the human mouth is considered one of the most infectious and dangerous of any animal, a tiny wound from a human bite can quickly become infected. This is also true for Zombies, they do not need to inflict any kind of serious damage to be effective in passing on the virus. After all contact with Zombies do a full body inspection for any new minor scrapes, if any are found immediately separate yourself from any company and quarantine yourself for 2 days.
NB: Zombies have often been observed with damaged teeth, this can be caused by over excertion but they have also been observed biting down on rocks and other hard objects covered in fresh blood. This can break their teeth leaving them with razor sharp edges allowing them to cut skin even if they have lost the ability to bite. This is also true for Zombies with broken off limbs that have exposed bone, the bone is often sharp enough to puncture skin so hey should be handled with extreme caution.
